FAQ

Is robotic inspection accepted under API 653?

Yes. Our workflows are built around API 653 and EEMUA 159 requirements, and every mission produces report-ready documentation with full audit trails from first scan to final sign-off.

How is a robotic inspection campaign priced?

Pricing depends on tank size, product, access, and mission scope. Contact the team for an estimate based on your tank fleet and operating constraints.

How much of the tank floor can a robot actually cover?

Typical in-service missions achieve around 96% floor coverage, with floor scan, wall thickness, and sludge profile data captured in a single coordinate frame so findings are georeferenced and repeatable.

Do your robots work while the tank is in service?

Our systems are being developed for in-service operation, with hazardous-location certification still in progress. Contact the team to review the current test envelope for your tank and product.

What data does a single inspection mission capture?

One pass captures synchronized visual imagery, geometric mapping, and ultrasonic wall-thickness measurements. Everything is georeferenced and flows into the Tank Intelligence Platform within 48 hours.

What documentation do we receive after a mission?

Within 48 hours you receive a ranked, audit-ready findings package fused into the asset's digital twin, including API 653 report-ready documentation your authorized inspector can sign off on directly.

Can the robots clean sludge without taking the tank out of service?

The cleaning system is designed to fluidize, agitate, and extract sludge with live VOC, sludge-volume, and wastewater tracking. In-service and hazardous-location use remain subject to the current certification and test envelope.

How does the robot get inside the tank?

The robot deploys through existing roof access, typically a manway, using our davit system. The crew operates entirely from the tank roof and a control station at grade, with live telemetry on every move.
